AN ANCIENT PRACTICE: VISION FASTING

This retreat is based on an ancient human spiritual practise. In all the different continents, our ancestors seeked clarity about their life purpose or marked the big transitions of life, by going out on the wild land alone.
The tribe honored and awaited the return of the brave ones, because they brought important messages for the well-being of the whole community.

In these times of global change, many of us have the deep longing to reconnect with our true nature and what we truly came to do here. The wilderness solo is a ritual, an act of self-empowerment, a deeply transformative experience to re-affirm your path, initiate a new phase of your life and receive vision on where to direct your energy.

RITE OF PASSAGE​
As they are cycles of nature, a human life has its cycles. The wilderness solo is a moment to reflect, feel, live and celebrate the phases of life and mark the transition from one phase to the next. We enter in a sacred space to shed the old skin that has become too small for us and to consciously dream the next chapter.
WE ARE NATURE

Living modern lifestyles it can be hard to remember our true place in the web of all. To return to nature in its pure state, without distraction, we realize that the outer landscape reflects the inner one, and that it is full of messages with information, healing and connection. The wilderness solo allows us to experience and nurture us with this powerful medicine, to then be able to return to the world with the gifts we discovered.
A guided 8-day retreat to prepare, do and integrate
a solitary fast of 3 days in the "ELS PORTS" montains
The solo time is 3 days and 3 nights in the precious mountain range "Els Ports de Beceite"
The days of preparation and integration we will be at our base camp Kurkum Farm.
It's a retreat and learning center where a conscious, healthy and sustainable life is cultivated
and the spirit of community is highly valued.
There is a yurt, a garden, a camping area, olive and almond orchards
and lots of space to enjoy the quietness and beauty of the Spanish countryside.

Lien De Coster
Lien mentors groups and individuals around themes of nature and spirituality towards a soulful life.
She is a master-teacher of the Corepower method for personal leadership.
Among several wilderness solo retreats, she did a Sacred Passage & Advanced Awareness Training led by John P. Milton.
She has received a training in North-Western European shamanism, that made her a Woman of the Paths (nature connection work) and Soul Woman (working with dying, passing and mourning).
She is also energy trained, with a focus on healing, in the Standing Like a Tree chi kung lineage.
Further, she developed unearthing intuitive wisdom through her study of the Tarot.
As a nature connector and community builder she uses the 8 shields model by Jon Young and a combination of all the she learned from her teachers and mentors and travels in deep contact with nature.

Katrien Deboutte
Katrien is a psychologist, dedicated to guide people in re-connecting with (their true) nature.
As a nature-based change facilitator she creates spaces for people to connect to themselves, others and the natural world and to transform their life into its fullest potential.
At her homestead on the Spanish countryside, a magic place called Kurkum Farm, she organizes a range of retreats and programs, ceremonies, musical and spiritual events and community-building activities.
She guides camps for kids between 7 and 11.
She is a sweatlodge ceremony leader, a carpenter and she also builds medicinal drums and leads workshops where people create their own drum.
She's a sound healer, a dj and she cultivates olive oil, almonds and vegetables.
